Sound Bath on Cancer’s New Moon, July 4, 7-8pm

Thursday, July 4th | 7PM - 8PM

Enjoy the soft, healing tones as we stretch, breathe, and connect for an hour of awesome! 

Seated or lying on a mat, you’ll feel welcome and comfortable.

This relaxing hour will settle your body, mind, and spirit for clarity, strength, and positivity. Relax to beautiful singing bowls and other sacred instruments for deep relaxation, all played by Deb Taylor @debtaylorlife. These tones will help you release tension from the body and mind. On the New Moon, with a clear, calm mind, it is a great time to set good intentions for our upcoming days, weeks and months. You will connect with yourself, as well as others. This will be a friendly group in the gorgeous gallery of the heritage centre. We’re just 5 minutes north-east of Trafalgar Rd & Upper Middle Rd. 

What is a Sacred Sound Bath?

Many cultures work with crystal and brass singing bowls, drums, rain stick, rain drum, chimes, and more to create streams of healing sounds that are especially useful for deep relaxation. This time spent in contemplation, relaxation, and focused awareness can help you reset, heal, and manifest Divine abundance, love, and light.

New Moon for New Beginnings 

When we set an intention, we are far more likely to realize a goal, experience, and feeling. The lunar energy supports and encourages us to leap, expand, and launch our lives with this motivating energy.

Cancer is a WATER sign so you will be encouraged to lean in to your emotions while staying grounded in a sense of self for confidence and mountain-like stability. Summer time is a time of aliveness, activities, social connections, long days and long evenings in nature, and blooming. We need to ground in self-assuredness for all of this energy to flow in safe and healthy ways. 

‘One step at a time’ kind of pacing is critical to move with grace and ease into your growing-evolving strength. 

Our feeling of safety is now related to your home, family and related activities such as cooking and gardening, or anything we enjoy doing at home that includes some sort of creativity.

Let’s put space between ourselves and the stressors this month particularly.

It’s a good time to designate extra awareness to these self-supporting practices.

We will work on creating a deep sense of belonging in the world as we maintain awareness on our emotional growth and maturity.

Every month we meet for this deep relaxation and self-care. 

We find peace and align with ourselves to live a more intentional life.

The important practice of deep relaxation is a life-skill that we build with practice. 

Let’s get good at this for a more resilient, healthy, peace-filled life.

Join us for this amazing hour of beautiful music and sound vibration, relaxation, and inspiration. The new moon, is a natural opportunity to focus on our next steps for a healthy, happy, gratifying new week, month, and life.
