
Creative Resilience

As we continue our re-entry into and re-engaging in our new world, new coping strategies are needed. A key component for recalibrating and rebounding is creativity. Creativity is at the heart of resilience.
This 4-week Creative Resilience workshop series will help participants discover and explore their internal capacity for resilience, through the power of the arts. This program will be facilitated by Susan Ksiezopolski. Susan is a HeartMath certified Building Personal Resilience Coach, and believes that “When we become more resilient it enables us to thrive, moving more confidently into dealing with life vs. being overwhelmed and drained by it. We tap into our capacity to bounce back when we open up and embrace our curiosity and our creativity.”
“The Creative Resilience, An Artful Way to Bounce” Program integrates multiple art forms such as visual arts, music, movement and photography while exploring the core components required to thrive during challenging times.
About Your Instructors

About Susan Ksiezopolski
Susan Ksiezopolski, following her retirement from a 32-year career in the public sector, reignited her life-long passion for poetry. In 2016, she graduated from the Humber School for Writers. In 2018, she founded WriteWell to support organizations and individuals in creating a path to success and wellness by unleashing the power of expressive creative writing.
An award winning writer, she has published two poetry books “My Words, from my heart through my hands”, “Writing for Change” and a creative writing aid “The Writer’s Workbook, Free the Writer Within”. The focus of Susan’s writing is not solely for telling her own stories and for her own self-expression but to also help others to be inspired to tap into their writing voice and capture their stories. Her motto is “Everyone has a right to have their voice heard it they choose to use it, regardless of their circumstances”.
She has developed and delivered a wide range of sought-after writing workshops including; Free the Writer Within, Write on the Spot, Write to Heal, Creative Resilience, Write Your Story – Memoir Writing, How to Build Your Writing Habits. Since 2016, Susan has delivered over 300 workshops.
