Join us for a mindful experience and deepen your relationship with nature. Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, which gives you the chance to reconnect with nature.
Expect a series of invitations to guide you to interact with the land and nature at the grounds of this urban oasis. There is no right or wrong way to engage these invitations, just come be yourself. Tea service will be offered at the end of the program. You are welcome to bring your own reusable mug.
Important Information
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and dress for the weather. Please bring your own foldable lawn chair or blanket. This is a rain or shine event unless severe weather is in the forecast. Limit to 12 participants.
About Sock Gee Gan
Sock Gee Gan is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association on Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs. A resident of Mississauga who loves to wander and explore in nature, she is eager to share the many benefits of Forest Bathing with the community.
