Join us for a captivating plein air painting experience amidst the picturesque landscapes of Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre. Embrace the theme of ‘Nature Without Borders’ as you immerse yourself in the serene beauty of our natural surroundings.

Event Highlights:

• Spend 4 hours capturing the essence of nature (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Bring your favourite mediums, supplies, and easels
• You are encouraged to be environmentally sensitive: please tread lightly, dispose of waste responsibly, and avoid impacting delicate ecosystems
• Housekeeping Notes:
  • Carpooling encouraged
  • Parking available; washrooms accessible through side and double doors at the back through to the gallery.
  • Please Note that there is a private residence on the property. Be mindful of where you set up and be sure to check in with our coordinators.
  • Respect boundaries, especially around newly planted trees, perennials, and sensitive watersheds

What to Bring:

• Your own lunches and drinks (no food or beverages provided on-site)

Opportunities:

• Artists from this event will be invited to submit creations for a fall juried show at Heritage Mississauga Grange Gallery Winter Show
• Artists are also encouraged to apply for the Friends of Joshua Creek Exhibition taking place June 2024 at the gallery.
