Community Living Art Classes
EVERY WEDNESDAY 9:30 AM TO 12:30 PM
Every Monday seven artists from Community Living Oakville, Ontario, arrive at Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre. In two hours these gifted artist produce personal masterpieces with much laughter and joy. Although these artist are challenged Joshua Creek provides an environment to create and nourish their gifts and imagination.
Our lessons are focused on different ways of seeing and experiencing the world. This is reflected in their artwork. It is about sharing, awareness, artistic expression and courage.
Community Living is a leader in personalized support for those with disabilities, with over 12,000 members across the province they represent 107 local Community Living associations. Sybil Rampen is an art specialist, she has invented a unique system of teaching all ages and stages. Her intention is to share the lessons developed at Joshua Creek Art Studio in a series of books and videos. Many people could benefit from her teaching methods.
