Art to me is that reality that is completely my own,
where I can come closest to my innermost self.
It’s my ballast during stormy times,
and my anchor when I need to rest.
It’s my port where I come home to,
and my place of honest expression.
I believe firmly that it is in the creative act
that we come closest to reflecting the image of God.
