BETTY NEIL
“What art means to me”

Betty loved flowers.
Happiness was sitting at the kitchen table
with a freshly picked bouquet.
Watercolour Printmaking added a new dimension to her art
She drew with a paint brush loaded with colour,
discovering a freedom never experienced before.
A course in embroidery at Sheridan turned her into a fibre artist.
She played Methuselah, the leader of the gang,
in our Hell’s Grannie film.
Her greatest thrill, was riding at the back
of a motorbike on 401 listening to hard rock.
Her innate love of beauty stayed with her to the end of her life.
Very special and much loved.
