9:00 – 11:00 THERAPEUTIC YOGA: Learn how to shed the layers of

tension and get in touch with the natural ease that exists in your body!

We’ll spend the morning with a gentle yoga practice using the principles

of yoga therapy to bring new lightness to the body. Allow movement,

stillness and breath to bring you into yourself.

11:15 – 3:00 WATER COLOUR PRINTMAKING. We’ll then find our

sources of inspiration and allow our creativity to be expressed through the

magical process of water colour printmaking. It’s a simple technique

that requires no experience. No need to be able to draw, just allow

yourself to relax and express what’s inside. Take home your personal


Lunch will be at approximately 12:30 – 1:30 and will be provided.

Please advise of any food allergies.

Bring your yoga mat, blocks, strap and 3 blankets or thick towels.

TRICIA CHATFIELD – Yoga has been a part of my life for 25 years. I work primarily with older adults and those who are in pain. My introduction to art came about 7 years ago when I stumbled upon the treasure that is Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre and its Founder, Sybil Rampen who uncovered my inner artist. Yoga, specifically yoga therapy, puts me in touch with my body. Allowing my creativity to be expressed through water colour print making puts me in touch with my soul. Yoga therapy is a process of restoring ease to the body, eliminating the compensations that create dysfunction. Simple movements help you to learn what’s happening in your body and what is needed to live a life without pain
