The Library

The Amice Calverly Research Room ( also known as The Library ) serves as the official repository for the documentary heritage of the Calverley family. Named after Amice Calverley, renowned Egyptologist, the research room also serves as a library of Amice’s personal collection of Egyptian photographs, drawings and audio recordings. The room is a living museum and has been recreated to represent Amice’s former heritage home on the Oakville Ontario lakefront .

The library includes books and publications featuring architecture, history, art, the paranormal, healing arts, organic farming, alternative energy and green living.

There is a large body of historical research papers collected by Zory Glaser that deals with the healthful and harmful effects of microwave radiation on the human body.

Individuals that wish to use the Library are welcome by appointment only and are encouraged to become members of the centre.

The Library and can be used for small public presentations, lectures and workshops provided that Centre staff are present. Soft seating portable chairs are available. Click here to read the rules for using the facility.

The Balcony reading lounge contains a harpsicord, antique cabinets, table and chairs and is appointed with historic artifacts that are displayed on the walls. Individuals are welcome to have food and drinks in this space.
