4 The Sake of Art
A group of 4 local artists present a selection of distinctive contemporary and abstract art pieces including 4 different mediums of watercolour, acrylic, mixed media and sculptures.
The exhibition showcases vibrant expressive art created through the exploration of self expression, encompassing mediums of print making, water colour, acrylic, mixed media and sculpture. Diverse works of art are presented in spectacular colour, texture, form and imagery.
The exhibit will run from August 17 – September 19, 2012.

Sandra George enjoys using found objects in her artwork, making something new out of the discarded and forgotten.
Jo Ann Haynes’ artwork is a channeled endeavor where she dwells in endless possibilities of color, medium and light.
Mary Rischke loves the creative process, the excitement of experiencing new mediums and techniques, colour, texture and movement spilling onto the canvas.
Maria Weir finds that emotion is the essence of life and art is her ultimate expression that connects her to the world.
