“Pursuit” An Exhibition of Multimedia Paintings by Lisa Jayne Irvine & Susie Izidoro-Savino – July 15 to August 14, 2011
Nature, texture, and identity are combined in the work of Lisa and Susie.
The artists work together using imaginative play to create their uniquely textured works. Lisa’s art focuses on her sculptural background and she ties in her love of nature to her personal quest for identity. Susie organically builds layers into her textural pieces order to examine her cultural background. She incorporates traditional embroidery practices in a non-conventional way.
Lisa and Susie successfully balance creative expressions to illuminate their artistic visions.
